DivList is a search-engine friendly search engine!
Our clients are encouraged to submit every page on their site to DivList to build an external, dynamic site map. This site map is then submitted to other search engines for spidering. When search engines spider our links, they follow them to your site and rank you site with all of the details provided at DivList. This is because search engines give heavier consideration for keywords within a hyperlink tag. For example, if you have the following link: <A href="http://www.mysite.com/donuts.htm>Home made donuts delievered to your door!</A> The keywords within the A tag "Home, made, donuts, delivered, door" are kept in Google's (or whoevers) memory. They then traverse to the mysite.com/donuts page and look for those keywords. If they appear, it is considered a valid link and the page is ranked at a higher status. This process will repeat for every link that you've submitted to us. During the submission process, we also build a dynamic site map on our own site. So after search engines finish spidering the links on our site, they will revisit each of your links as well. The following diagram illustrates this process in graphical detail: ![]() As you can see, DivList acts as a re-submission engine for your web site. We help your site to encourage search engines to spider your web site on a more regular basis while at the same time incorporating keywords into their rank criteria. Click here to get started! |
